*The Quietman is CPBS S1-1232. Under the newly implemented Grading System he was given the status of Grade 1.

*The Quietman's dam is Blathin Chonamara, in 2005 *The Quietman's full brother Killyon King won both the Colt Foal Class and Champion Foal at Clifden. In 2006 he was 4th at Clifden in the Yearling Colt's Class. In 2004 his other full brother finished 5th in the Colt Foal Class. *The Quietman's granddam is Westside Cassandra who is the dam of William's Boy (by Champion Bob) a CPBS approved stallion who is doing quite well in Ireland at the moment, in 2006 he placed 4th in the Stallion Class at Clifden.

His grandsire on his dam's side is Cloonisle Cashel (Abbeyleix Owen x Cloonisle Lady). He died at a young age but was a very successful stallion and sire of many winners and left behind several stallion sons who stand in both Ireland and England (C.V. Cashel, Silver Shadow, Spiddal Playboy - winner of the 2004 Stallion Class at Clifden, Dolan Mick - 2006 Clifden Supreme Champion, Cloon-Eile Cashel, and Glencarrig Prince - Supreme Champion at Clifden 2003 and undefeated in-hand). Cloonisle Cashel's half brother Dark Stranger (by Ashfield Festy) stands in England.

 

 

 

*The Quietman's granddam Westside Cassandra is by Ballydonagh Casanova whose dam is Atlantic Mist - twice Supreme Champion at Clifden. Atlantic Mist is the granddaughter of Ciro who won Supreme Champion at Clifden twice and many time winner at the RDS Horse Show (Royal Dublin Society Horse Show) in the 1940s and 50s.

*The Quietman's sire Moy Hazy Cove is one of the most popular stallions in Ireland at the moment. He has several stallion sons both in Ireland and abroad. He is the sire of many winners. His dam is Windy Cove who is a granddaughter of Windy (dam of Rebel Wind among others - and considered one of the best broodmares in the history of the breed).

Windy Cove is also the dam of Windy Cove Ranger and Cove Commander both by Carna Bobby and half-sister to Lord Harry and Abbeyleix Apollo who are also both stallions by by Carna Bobby

Moy Hazy Cove's sire, Hazy Dawn stands in Denmark and Hazy Dawn sire's Dale Haze is in Sweden, both are very popular in their respective countries, with many winners and a good few stallion sons to their names.

Moy Hazy Cove descends from the Mountain Lad bloodline. His granddam is Abbeyleix Bluebird who was awarded the ACPS Broodmare award in 2000.
